BORDER SECURITY — FEDERAL GOVERNMENT
607. Mr R.S. LOVE to the Minister for Federal–State
Relations:
I have a supplementary question.
Thank you, Premier, but as the Minister for Federal–State Relations,
has the minister been in contact with the Prime Minister regarding this serious
threat to our state's security and biosecurity?

AnswerView source ↗

I have raised it with the Prime
Minister in informal forums and he has assured me that it is a matter of
particular interest to the federal government, as are all issues on border
protection.
