GNANGARA PINE PLANTATION
578. Hon Dr BRAD PETTITT to the Minister for Forestry:
I refer to the native revegetation
of the Gnangara pine plantation.
(1) How many hectares have been
revegetated and remain planted to date?
(2) At what date
or year does the state government expect the revegetated native plant seedlings
planted in the Gnangara state forest will be mature enough to provide food
supply for black cockatoos?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1)–(2) Questions
relating to the regeneration of the Gnangara pine plantation should be referred
to the Minister for Environment.
I note that the Forest Products
Commission does not own or operate the land; it is under the control of the
Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions.
