I refer to the Drugs of Addiction Notification Regulations
1980.
(1) How many people are currently recorded on the register
pursuant to regulation 5?
(2) How many names have been removed
from the register subject to regulation 5(2)?
(3) How many people have been
prosecuted under regulation 4?

I thank the honourable member for some notice of the
question.
(1) A total of 14 128 individuals are on the register as at
18 September 2013.
(2) Seventy individuals have been removed from the register,
based on records available since 1997.
(3) The Department of Health has no
record of any prosecutions.
