287. Hon MARTIN ALDRIDGE to the minister representing the
Minister for Lands:
I refer to the
DevelopmentWA Boodarie strategic industrial area.
(1) Is the
minister aware of the impact that the development of the Boodarie SIA has had
on the operation of the Hedland Export Depot, including rendering the
stockyards inoperable for two years?
(2) Is the minister aware that major defects remain in
relation to mains power and water supply to the Hedland Export Depot
arising from the development?
(3) Is the
minister aware that the Hedland Export Depot remains inoperable ahead of the
2024 Pilbara muster; and will the minister urgently meet with the owners of the
Hedland Export Depot to resolve these matters?

currently the subject of an independent arbitration, and as such it would not
