Early Childhood Education:
I refer to the Culturally and
Linguistically Diverse Early Years Link program—CaLDEYLink—and
the answer provided to question without notice 173 asked on 27 May 2021, which
states —
The trial will commence in semester 2
of 2021 and will continue until the end of 2024.
(1) Can the
minister advise whether the program will continue at Maylands Peninsula and
Bentley Primary Schools beyond 2024?
(2) If yes, will the program
continue as a trial or be permanently funded from 2025?
(3) If no to (1), why not?

Education provided the following advice.
(1) Yes. The
program is funded under the commonwealth preschool reform agreement that
expires at the end of 2025.
(2) The program
