LIQUOR LICENSING LAWS - MANDATORY TRAINING POLICY
Since the introduction of the mandatory training policy under the new liquor legislation, can the minister advise - (1) How many fines have been issued for non-compliance in - (a) the metropolitan area; and (b) non-metropolitan areas? (2) How many liquor licenses have been surrendered due to inability to comply in - (a) the metropolitan area; and (b) non-metropolitan areas? (3) How many training policy exemptions have been granted and on what basis in - (a) the metropolitan area; and (b) non-metropolitan areas? Hon LJILJANNA RAVLICH

(3) Although precise data in this regard is not captured by the Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor’s database, it is estimated that the director and his delegates have granted more than 100 modifications or exemptions to clubs in respect of training requirements.
