In relation to public transport services to King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH), I ask -
(1) What bus services and the frequency of those services are provided from Perth CBD to KEMH?
(2) Have concerns been raised about the lack of public transport access, especially for seniors and those with a disability?
(3) Does the Government have plans to change routes or frequency of bus services to improve access to KEMH?
(4) If no to (3), why not?

(1) Transperth's bus Route 27 operates along Bagot Road past King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH) every 30 minutes on weekdays and hourly on weekends. The Route 27 terminates in East Perth and operates along Adelaide and St Georges Terrace through the CBD. In addition, the hospital can be accessed by train with Daglish Station less than 500 metres away.
(2) No, this issue has not been raised recently.
(3) No.
(4) Across the metropolitan area Transperth regularly receives request from the community for improved public transport. These requests are assessed by Transperth and prioritised in its Service Development Plan for implementation as funding becomes available. As indicated above, public transport services (bus and train) to King Edward Memorial Hospital has not been raised as a significant concern by the community.
