I refer to Page 311 of Budget Paper 3 of the 23-24 Budget Papers , and I ask: (a) with regards to the racing bets levy: (i) how much of the subsidy is anticipated to be granted to greyhound racing; and (ii) how much of the subsidy is anticipated to be raised from greyhound racing; and (b) with regards to the point of consumption tax: (i) how much of the subsidy is anticipated to be granted to greyhound racing; and (ii) how much of the subsidy is anticipated to be raised from greyhound racing?

(a) with regards to the racing bets levy:
(i) Approximately $27 million.
(ii) It is estimated to be approximately $27 million in 2023/24 financial years.
(b) with regards to the point of consumption tax:
(i) $2.1 million.
(ii) In order to protect the commercial information of Bookmakers, the revenue from greyhound races is combined with point of consumption tax from other racing codes, and it is not possible to distinguish the greyhound revenue in isolation (as advised by Treasury and Finance).
