That is not what has happened. That
is the member's opinion —
Mr D.T. Redman interjected.
The SPEAKER : Member, you have
had a chance for a supplementary.
Mr F.M. LOGAN : In terms of
the member's argument about a threat to those homes, that is his
opinion. Now, the minister has already told his colleague just once in here in
this question time —
Mr D.T. Redman interjected.
The SPEAKER : Member, you have
already asked a question. Let the minister answer it.
Mr F.M. LOGAN : The minister
has already responded to the member for Warren–Blackwood's
colleague that there are existing houses immediately adjacent to this
development up there. There is a main road that runs past the proposed
development. There is a side road —
Mr D.T. Redman : So
developments are okay where there are existing houses?
The SPEAKER : Member for
Warren–Blackwood, that is your last warning.
Mr F.M. LOGAN : I am trying to
answer the question for you, mate.
Mr D.T. Redman interjected.
The SPEAKER : Member for
Warren–Blackwood, I call you to order for the first time.
Mr F.M. LOGAN : In terms of
access and egress for both future residents and emergency vehicles that may
well be called to any fires for either the existing residents or the future
residents, I think they are perfectly suitable, and that is the reason the
minister made the decision she did.
