ELECTRICITY CREDIT —
2020–21 STATE BUDGET
813. Mr V.A. CATANIA to the Treasurer:
I
have a supplementary question. Treasurer, thank you for clarifying that. Can
the Treasurer give an undertaking that household consumers who have been
told that they are not eligible for the credit will have the correct
information communicated to them?

AnswerView source ↗

We
are working through that, as I said. Can I confirm with the member for North West
Central that the position of Hon Jacquie Boydell is, and I quote according
to my notes, ''It should be means tested because much of the money will
go to people who aren't experiencing hardship'' is not the
position of the Nationals WA?
Mr V.A. Catania : No.
Mr B.S. WYATT : Okay. It is
good to know that there is a split within the Nationals, and a split within the
Liberals, and a split between the Liberals and the Nationals.
We will work this out because we
are keen, as I said, for every single Western Australian household to get the
advantage of this payment.
