I refer to the Government's announcement on 14 June 2012 that it has signed a 23 year contract with Saint John of God to operate the new Midland Health Campus, and ask:
(a) what is the total value of the contract;
(b) will the Minister make a copy of the contract publicly available; and
(c) does the contract have any review clauses built into it and, if so, when is the earliest review of the contract?

(a) $4,960,040,000.
(b) In accordance with the National Public Private Partnership (PPP) Guidelines, and the Western Australian Department of Treasury's PPP Project Disclosure Policy, an appropriate version of the Midland Health Campus (MHC) contract will be available on the internet within six months of Contract Close.
(c) The contract for St John of God Health Care (SJGHC) to build and run the MHC over the total 23 year term is actively managed by WA Health. SJGHC will be accountable to the State Government and be required to meet rigorous performance standards to ensure the delivery of health care is to a high standard at least consistent with or better than other hospitals serving public patients. The contract allows for the regular review of volumes and service types. There are 159 key performance indicators on quality, governance and activity under this contract.
