In relation to the Memorandum of Understanding between the State Government and the Miners Hall of Fame in Kalgoorlie, I ask —
(1) When was this Memorandum signed and when does it come into effect?
(2) Who signed this Memorandum?
(3) Are there any financial implications for the State Government under the Memorandum?
(4) If yes to (3), will the Minister provide details of these costs?
(5) Will the Minister table a copy of the Memorandum and if not, why not?

(1) The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by the former Minister for Training and Workforce Development, the Hon Peter Collier MLC on 10 April 2012 and the Chairman of the Australian Prospectors and Miners Hall of Fame Limited on 12 April 2012. The MoU came into immediate effect.
(2) Refer to response (1).
(3) Yes.
(4) Outgoings estimated at $200 000 per annum and an initial investment of $3m for program development and fitout costs to facilitate the delivery of commercial training activities.
(5) Yes.  A copy of the MoU is provided [see tabled paper no].
