(2) If yes -
(a) what month are they scheduled to open in; and
(b) what is their address or location?
(3) What are the child health centres which are expected or budgeted to close in the 2000/01 financial year?

The Minister Replied:
1. Yes.
2. (a) September, October and November 2000 and anticipated mid year 2001.
(b) Port Kennedy (September 2000), Toodyay (November 2000), Bruce Rock (October 2000), Donnybrook (To be advised), Osborne Park Community Centre and Mirrabooka (anticipated mid 2001).
Child Health Centres are owned and managed by Local Government and the Health Department is not able to provide accurate information concerning closures. The Health Department has been advised that the following child health centres will close; Yokine, Osborne Park, Mirrabooka, Balga and Nollamara. They will be replaced with a new centre in Osborne Park and a relocated centre in Mirrabooka.
