The Minister for Environment has provided the following response.
(1)-(2) [See Tabled Paper No. #].
(3) A prescribed burn involves a significant planning and liaison stage preceding implementation that will involve a variety of personnel. The physical implementation of a prescribed burn is rarely completed in one day and may occur over a period of months depending on complexity, fuel type, weather and geography. As such, it is not possible to provide an accurate account of the number of individuals involved in any specific prescribed burn.
(4) The Department of Parks and Wildlife does not manage any bushland surrounding Dunsborough. This question would best be directed to the City of Busselton.
(5) The Department of Parks and Wildlife produces an Indicative Six Season Prescribed Burn Plan that equates to a forward planning period of three years. The plan is updated biannually and is published on the Department's website.
