(a) $450 million in savings is the number due to be saved over the forward estimates and Synergy will see cost of sales, operating costs, and capital expenditure gradually decrease from the across the business over the next four years.
(i-ii) The first three months of the business efficiency program is designed at identifying savings opportunities and implementing processes that will deliver benefits over a sustained period. Synergy is on target to deliver $50 million of savings in the 15/16 financial year.
