849. Hon Dr BRAD PETTITT to the Leader of the House
representing the Minister for Housing:
(1) How many
applications were on the public housing waitlist at the end of August 2022, and
how many individuals does that represent?
(2) How many
applications were on the public housing priority waitlist at the end of August
2022, and how many individuals does that represent?

On
behalf of the Leader of the House, I thank the honourable member for some notice
of this question. The following answer has been provided to me by the
Minister for Housing.
(1)–(2) As at 31 August 2022, 18 993 applications were on
the public housing waitlist, representing 33 495 people. This included 4
235 priority applications, representing 8 597 people.
