CERVANTES-LANCELIN ROAD
Further to the minister’s advice to this house on 22 August 2006 that construction works on the first stage of the Cervantes-Lancelin road would be completed by winter 2008, will the minister confirm the expected completion date of this road in its entirety? Hon ADELE FARINA

I thank the member for some notice of this question. The government expects to construct the balance of the link to Cervantes in the three years following construction of the first stage between Lancelin and Ocean Farm Estate. It may be possible to bring that forward depending on the progress of other projects.
