School visits for politicians are guided by the Department of Education’s Protocols for politicians and candidates for an election to visit public schools in Western Australia .
A manual review of identifiable files indicates written requests from a range of Political movements including Labor, Liberal, National, Independent and Green party MPs and 2025 Federal Candidates.
An exact number cannot be provided via a manual review of files, however the search indicates that only 4 visit requests were denied.
A full review of every file related to correspondence from Members of Parliament would divert staff away from their normal duties and is not considered an appropriate use of resources.
