I refer to the Expression of Interest advertised in July 2013 seeking parties with suitable hotel development, operational qualifications and financial capacity to undertake a hotel development in Karratha, and ask: (a) what are the names of all persons who approved Ramtron Australia as the preferred proponent of the 4.5 star hotel; (b) did the Minister of the day endorse the decision and if not, why not; (c) were deadlines or key dates for the various stages of the hotel’s development, such as the securing of finance, part of the EOI; (d) if yes to (c), what were the deadlines or key dates associated the EOI; (e) does a formal, written contract exist with Ramtron and if so, what form does the contract take and who are the signatories to it; and (f) has any money been paid to Ramtron Australia and if so, what amount and for what purpose?
