(1) Does the Minister require that the Department for Local Government and Regional Development consult with community groups and community representatives on canine matters, and
(a) if not, why not?
(2) Can the Minister name all Boards or Committees in his portfolio area that have bearing on canine matters and state the names of the community organisations that are represented on those Boards and Committees?
(3) Are members of the Canine Association of Western Australia Inc. represented on these committees; and
(a) if not, why not?

(1a) Not Applicable.
(2) Australian and New Zealand Companion Animal Working Group. Membership is made up of officers from departments responsible for companion animals in each Australian jurisdiction. The only representative on this Working Group from Western Australiais provided by the Department of Local Government and Regional Development.
(3) No.
(3a) Membership does not provide for any other representation other than as specified in (2).
