ELECTIVE
SURGERY WAITLIST — JULY REPORT
1359. Hon SAMANTHA ROWE to the minister representing the
Minister for Health:
I refer to the July elective surgery
waitlist report and the fact that it showed is a disturbing increase in the
number of patients waiting for surgery and wait times.
(1) Why has the
government failed to publish the August, September and October elective surgery
waitlist reports for WA public hospitals?
(2) Why has the
government failed to publish the Western Australian emergency access target
performance quarterly report for July to September 2016?
(3) When will
these reports be published?

I thank the member for some notice
of the question.
(1)–(3) The
August and September 2016 elective surgery waitlist and quarterly WA emergency
access target reports have been drafted and are required to undergo data
integrity checks and review prior to publishing. They will be published on the
WA Health website once finalised. Data is being collated for the October 2016 elective
surgery waitlist report. This report is currently being prepared and will be
published shortly.
