Will the Minister please specify how many beds in each of the following areas will be available at the new Midland Health Campus when it opens, -
(a) medical/surgical;
(b) obstetrics and neonates;
(c) paediatrics;
(d) same day;
(e) rehabilitation;
(f) mental health;
(g) other;
(h) total beds on site; and
(i) contracted beds?

The Clinical Services Framework 2010-2020 sets out the planned beds for the Midland Health Campus when it opens in 2015 as:
(a) 130
(b) 28
(c) 12
(d) 35
(e) 46
(f) 56
(g) 0
(h) 307
(i) 20 - note these contracted beds refer to Renal Dialysis chairs, which will not in fact be on site at Midland Health Campus.
