CABINET INVESTIGATION
347. Hon SUE ELLERY to the
Leader of the House representing the Premier:
I refer to
the Department of the Premier and Cabinet investigation into senior government
staffers' management of events following the incidents on 22 and 23
February.
(1) Does the
report of the investigation make any adverse finding about any person?
(2) If yes to
(l), what was the adverse finding; who was the adverse finding against; and
what action will be taken against those people?
(3) Why will
the Premier not release the report of the department's investigation?

I thank the honourable member for some notice of this
question.
(1)–(3)
The director general has concluded that no policies were breached and no
misconduct occurred by any employee in relation to this matter. It is not usual
practice that internal reports concerning employee conduct, which often contain
personal information, be made public.
