I refer to the construction of the high-voltage power line to the proposed woodchip mill on Down Road, Albany. (1) Has Western Power negotiated with the City of Albany for the power line to be constructed on road verge on either side of Down Road south? (2) If yes, what was the result of those negotiations? (3) Were any of the local landowners advised that the line could not be constructed on the road verge because the Department of Conservation and Land Management would not agree to it? (4) If no to (1), will the minister now instruct Western Power to negotiate with the City of Albany for the line to be constructed on the road verge rather than on private property? Hon N.F. MOORE
