1) Government Agencies continue to undertake discussions with Burrup Fertilisers to facilitate progress during its construction phase. 2) Burrup Fertiliser’s project will benefit from the development of the multi-user service corridor, the sea-water/brine reticulation facilities and the expansion for the Dampier Port facilities. These developments are part of the $137 million infrastructure package commitment by the State Government. 3) Burrup Fertilisers Pty Ltd commenced construction during the last week of April 2003. (Note: Minister Brown visited the Burrup Fertilisers construction site on 14 August 2003). 4) Burrup Fertiliser’s plant is scheduled for production start up in July 2005.
