applicable. The Western Australian Electoral Commission is unable to provide
this information as there is no legislative obligation under the Electoral Act
for the parties to inform the commission of exemptions
or applications for incorporation. Further, there is no legislative requirement
for the commission to obtain, record or retain such information.
(3) The
government does not intend to introduce legislation to require political
parties to be incorporated as a condition of registration.
