Smiths Beach—Development—Environmental
Protection Authority
66 . Ms Libby Mettam to
the Premier:
I refer to the Chair of the Environmental Protection
Authority, Darren Walsh, who previously submitted the environmental application
on Smiths Beach on behalf of the developer.
Given the Department
of Water and Environmental Regulations' own peer review into this development
application found that Mr Walsh's submission lacked reliability and did not
demonstrate consistency with the state planning policy, does the Premier have
confidence in the head of the EPA remaining in his position given his
credibility has been disputed by the process itself?
