GNANGARA MOUND — WATER EXTRACTION
I refer to the answer to question (12) of question on notice 2651 and subsequent media reports that a local council has exceeded its water licence entitlement. (1) What is the name of the council that exceeded its water licence entitlement by 1.1 gigalitres? (2) What action has been taken by the Department of Water to address this and to ensure that there will not be a repeat of any over-extraction?
