In relation to agricultural land clearing applications that have been refused - (1) Did the Minister for Primary Industry announce more than 12 months ago that he would establish a working group to examine the equity issues relating to farmland clearing and to proposed solutions for those farmers who have been disadvantaged as a result of a refusal of a permit to clear land for agricultural use? (2) Did the Soil and Land Conservation Council endorse on 29 June 1999 a resolution of the State Salinity Council of 29 March 1999 that these equity issues needed to be addressed and satisfactorily resolved? (3) Has this working group reported to the Minister for Primary Industry? (4) If so, will the minister now table a copy of this report? Hon M.J. CRIDDLE
