In relation to agricultural land clearing applications that have been refused - (1) Did the Minister for Primary Industry announce more than 12 months ago that he would establish a working group to examine the equity issues relating to farmland clearing and to proposed solutions for those farmers who have been disadvantaged as a result of a refusal of a permit to clear land for agricultural use? (2) Did the Soil and Land Conservation Council endorse on 29 June 1999 a resolution of the State Salinity Council of 29 March 1999 that these equity issues needed to be addressed and satisfactorily resolved?
