I refer to the colonoscopy procedures at Albany Health Campus, and ask, can the Minister please advise: (a) what is the current wait list time for a colonoscopy to be performed at the Albany Health Campus; (b) how many medical practitioners can do this procedure; (c) how many colonoscopies were done in the calendar years 2009, 2010, 2012; and (d) how many colonoscopies have been done from 1 January 2013 to 1 September 2013?

(a) As at 18 September 2013, the average waitlist time for colonoscopies at Albany Health Campus by category is as follows:
Urgent - 6.15 days
Semi urgent - 31 days
Routine - 82 days
(b) There are currently three medical practitioners credentialed to perform colonoscopies at Albany Health Campus.
(c) In the calendar years 2009, 2010 and 2012 the following number of colonoscopies were performed:
2009 - 1930 colonoscopies
2010 - 2279 colonoscopies
2012 - 2627 colonoscopies
(d) From 1 January 2013 to 1 September 2013, 1681 colonoscopies have been performed at Albany Health Campus.
