WARDENS COURT DECISION
255. Ms M.J. DAVIES to the Minister for Mines and Petroleum:
I have a supplementary question. Just so I am clear, does the
minister have plans in place to amend the Mining Act or to introduce that
validating legislation should the Supreme Court ruling result in the
invalidation of those applications in granted titles? Is it in the pipeline?

As I said, that eventuality is something we continue to look
at. I, along with the department, continue to get briefed on what options would
be available to the state should that occur.
