theparliamentary secretary representing the Minister
for Transport:I refer to the
answer to Legislative Council question on notice number 117, in which the
minister explained that the methodology for the calculation of local content is
set out in the contract between the Public Transport Authority and Alstom.(1) Noting that Tenders WA outlines a brief
summary, mainly the cost and the general purpose of the contract, where can the
contract, specifically the section outlining the local content methodology, be
publicly accessed?(2) Can the minister table the relevant section of
the contract which outlines the local content methodology?(3) If neither of the answers to (1) or (2)
provide the sought after information with regard to the local content
methodology, how otherwise can this information be obtained?
