I thank the honourable member for some notice of the
question. The following answer has been provided by the Minister for
Health:
(1)–(2) An unplanned power disruption occurred
between 17:20 pm and 20:01 pm. The hospital's generators engaged within seconds
and operated as designed. There are no known adverse patient outcomes related
to this electrical power disruption.
(3) Ramsay Health Care liaised with
Western Power to determine the cause of the power disruption and requested they
implement measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
