I thank the member for some notice of this question. (1) Yes. (2)-(3) Department for Planning and Infrastructure staff are working closely with Department of Conservation and Land Management staff to complete negotiations in good faith. However, with regard to the Warroora pastoral lease, the lessee has been advised that the exclusion boundaries along the coastal strip will not be generally negotiable under the exclusion process as the area abuts the existing world renowned Ningaloo Marine Park and has conservation and landscape values and will be ultimately included in the State’s conservation estate. The minister has indicated that owner-occupied homesteads in the area will be given special consideration.
