Royalties for Regions
597. Mrs Kirrilee Warr to
the Premier:
I have a
supplementary question. When did Royalties for Regions stop being a regional
investment fund and start being a cash cow for Treasury?
Several members
interjected.
The Speaker: Order, members!

AnswerView source ↗

Perhaps that began
when the then Leader of the Nationals, Hon Brendon Grylls, stood up here and
decided that Royalties for Regions should be used to get a CBD office tower for
the government and refused to spend any of it on roads. The member should not
come into this place and ask when it began, because it began under the National
Party's watch!
The Speaker: Members,
that concludes question time.
