ROCK FISHING —MANDATORY LIFE JACKETS
1231. Hon COLIN HOLT to the minister representing the
Minister for Fisheries:
I refer to the trial of the
mandatory wearing of life jackets for anglers at rock fishing black spots, as
announced by the Premier on 29 April 2018.
(1) Who are the members of the trial
reference group and what organisations do they represent?
(2) Will legislation
be required to implement the trial; and, if so, what act or acts will need to
be amended?
(3) If legislation is not required,
how will the trial be legally enforced?
