ILUKA RESOURCES - CAPEL WETLANDS CENTRE 1179. Hon BARRY HOUSE to the minister representing the Minister for Education and Training: In relation to Iluka Resources’ Capel Wetlands Centre, I ask - (1) Is the minister aware of the educational value of this facility, with more than 23 education institutions involving 2 000 students using it in the last year? (2) Is the minister also aware of the pending closure of this facility? (3) Has the government been approached to augment Iluka Resources’ generous sponsorship over the years in order to keep the facility open?
