I refer to the planned Tonkin Highway northern extension, referred to as the proposed East Wanneroo North South Road (EWNSR) and ask:
(a) is the Minister aware that the City of Swan plans to construct the third stage of the Hepburn Avenue extension from Marshall Road to the Reid Highway-Tonkin Highway intersection;
(b) will this Hepburn Avenue extension ultimately become the EWNSR;
(c) what is the current estimate on the cost of constructing this extension between Marshall Road and Reid Highway-Tonkin Highway;
(d) will the State Government contribute funds to this extension project as the Tonkin Highway extension is reserved as a primary regional road under the Metropolitan Region Scheme;
(e) if so, when does the State Government expect to do this; and
(f) as this link also now includes the preferred alignment of the Perth Darwin National Highway, what is the timeframe to link this Highway with the suburb of Ellenbrook?
