1. Yes.
2. A proposal was received from the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale that recommended incorporating the proposed school into the Shire buildings in Mundijong. The proposal was for the establishment of a comprehensive Year 8?12 high school.
3. ? 5. After considering the proposal, it was rejected by the Department of Education and Training on the following:
a) Lack of student numbers.
b) Adequate accommodation is currently provided at Armadale SHS for these students.
c) Students would be provided with inferior accommodation to that provided in other new schools.
d) The cost implication could not be justified.
6. The Department is currently planning to provide secondary schooling at Byford and Mundijong as student numbers demand.
