ROE HIGHWAY STAGE 8 — IMPLEMENTATION
CONDITIONS
1327. Hon LYNN MacLAREN to the
parliamentary secretary representing the Minister for Transport:
I refer to statement 1008 published
on 2 July 2015, which relates to approval for Roe 8 under the Environmental Protection
Act.
(1) Will the
minister please list, by number, each of the conditions that remain outstanding
and each that have been completed?
(2) Regarding the
proposed December start to construction, what will be the first works to be
begun, and in which location?

On behalf of the Parliamentary Secretary
to the Minister for Transport, I thank the member for some notice of the question.
(1) The following
conditions have been satisfied: 4–1, 4–2, 7–6, 7–7,
8–2, 10–2, 10–3, 10–4, 12–6, 12–7,
12–8, 12–11, 12–12, 12–14 and 12–15.
All remaining conditions are either
ongoing or outstanding. It is to be noted that Main Roads is compliant to date
with the conditions of MS 1008.
(2) Initial
construction activity will be outlined in the alliance team's early
works schedule, which is currently being finalised.
