960. Hon STEPHEN DAWSON to the
Minister for Housing:
I refer to rents being paid for Pelago West Apartments 3, 12,
13, 15, 16, 17, 18, 36 and 37.
(1) Has the midpoint review of rents being paid for these
apartments occurred?
(2) If yes to (l) —
(a) on what date did that review
occur;
(b) what is or will be the new
weekly rate for each of the nine apartments; and
(c) on what date has or will the
new weekly rate take effect?
(3) If no to (1) —
(a) on what date will the review
occur; and
(b) what is the state currently
paying in weekly rent for each of the nine apartments?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1) Yes.
(2) (a) The midpoint review was
initiated on 7 July 2015.
(b) The midpoint
review has not been completed; therefore, the Housing Authority cannot advise
of the new rent.
(c) Once finalised, the rent charges
will be backdated to 11 September 2015.
(3) Not applicable.
