797. Hon MARTIN ALDRIDGE to the Leader of the House
representing the Premier:
I refer to the Premier's
announcement today that the Perth Royal Show will not proceed based upon advice
received from the Chief Health Officer.
(1) Can the Premier please table
the advice received from the Chief Health Officer?
(2) On what date was the advice
requested and received from the Chief Health Officer?
(3) What
implications does this decision have for other agricultural shows and similar
events in coming weeks and months?
(4) Will the
state government now meet with the Royal Agricultural Society of WA and
formally consider its proposal for state government assistance for agricultural
shows and events statewide?
