Could the Minister please answer the following questions: (a) how many customers have been charged on overdue amounts to date in 2015 and, what was the rate of interest charged during that time; and (b) what was the total interest revenue earned by the Water Corporation on overdue accounts in 2015?

(a) From 1 January 2015 to 3 August 2015, 334 625 accounts have been charged interest on overdue balances. The interest rate varies between 0 per cent and 12.38 per cent depending on customer circumstances.
