(a) The poles painted under the Repay project are located in Kelmscott at the following locations:
· Buckingham Road
· Rockview Place
· Possum Place
· Grade Road
· Canning Mills Road
· Greendale Place
(b) Western Power is testing the adhesion properties of fire retardant paint applied by the Repay WA project in a field environment. Western Power is allowing an annual weathering process to elapse (which includes both summer and winter weather conditions) before determining the suitability of extending the Repay pilot. Future plans will be based on the results of the pilot.
New poles have fire retardant paint pre-applied in a controlled environment.
