DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND WILDLIFE — BUNBURY
RELOCATION
257. Hon ADELE FARINA to the
minister representing the Minister for Environment:
I refer to the government's announcement of the
building of a new Department of Parks and Wildlife headquarters at Koombana
Drive, Bunbury.
(1) I note
from information on the department's website that it has a state
headquarters at Kensington and nine regional headquarters across the state.
Will the new headquarters stage 1 on Koombana Drive replace the Kensington
offices as the department's state headquarters or will it be a regional
headquarters?
(2) Will the
department's existing Bunbury regional headquarters on South Western
Highway be closed when the Koombana Drive stage 1 offices open?
