I refer to the answer provided in response to my question without notice in
relation to potentially building the new women’s and babies hospital in Kings
Park next to the Perth Childrens Hospital, and I ask: (a) can the Minister confirm the Cook Labor
Government will prioritise a small parcel of class A reserve scrubland over the
care of Western Australian babies; (b) can the Minister confirm changes to the
boundaries of Kings Park can be made by Government by making changes to the Botanic Gardens and Parks Act 1998 and any relevant regulations; (c) what important paediatric and neonatology
services will be located at Fiona Stanley Hospital, and will these duplicate
services offered at Perth Children’s hospital; and (d) which paediatric and neonatology services will
only be offered at Perth Childrens Hospital?
