FIONA
STANLEY HOSPITAL — PUBLIC TRANSPORT
1113. Hon SAMANTHA ROWE to the
parliamentary secretary representing the Minister for Transport:
I refer to the difficulties that will likely be experienced
by residents of Belmont in taking public transport to Fiona Stanley Hospital.
(1) How will people from Belmont travel to Fiona Stanley
Hospital via public transport?
(2) How long will this journey take?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable member for some notice of the
question.
(1) Passengers
wishing to access the Fiona Stanley Hospital from the Belmont area should use
bus route 98 and on their return journey bus route 99 from the Fiona Stanley
Hospital.
(2) Journey
times vary according to the time of day, day of the week and point at which a
passenger boards. Hang on! I have the wrong answer here. There was an amendment
to the answer.
Hon
Samantha Rowe : Shall we
start again? It is C1184.
Hon JIM CHOWN : Yes; that is all right. The answer to (1)
is correct. I will continue with the answer to (2) —
Journey times vary according to
the time of day, day of the week and point at which a passenger boards. For
more timetabling information, refer to the Transperth timetables that are
available physically, online and through utilising the Transperth smartphone
app. Alternatives are available travelling via Perth on bus routes 36, 37, 38,
39, 40, 288, 295, 296, 298 and 299 and then transferring to the Mandurah line
to Murdoch station.
The PRESIDENT : We will read Hansard to find the details of that answer!
