HOSPITALS — VIDEO ELECTROENCEPHALOGRAM BEDS
578. Hon SAMANTHA ROWE to the minister
representing the Minister for Health:
(1) Can the
minister provide the number and location of video electroencephalogram beds,
including same day beds, in Perth hospitals for the detection and diagnosis of
epilepsy?
(2) For each of
these beds, how many have staff allocated for their utilisation?
(3) If beds are
not being fully staffed, what is the level of staffing for each bed?
(4) Is there a waitlist
for patients needing the video EEG bed procedure?
(5) If so, how
many patients are on that waitlist and what is the median wait time for the
video EEG treatment?

The data required to answer the
member's questions needs to be manually collated by each relevant
health site. The health services are unable to respond within the allocated
