LOCAL
GOVERNMENT COMMISSIONER — MEL CONGERTON
903. Mr M. McGOWAN to the
Minister for Local Government:
I ask a supplementary question. When did this request arrive,
and when did the minister advise Mr Congerton that he would not be receiving
his requested position?

AnswerView source ↗

The request was done, I think, in July last year—August
last year; I am not exactly clear of the date. When did I have the
conversation? Last Wednesday, as in yesterday, I told him. That was the first I
became aware of it.
Point of Order
Mrs
M.H. ROBERTS : Mr Speaker, the Leader of the Opposition asked the
minister whether he will be tabling the correspondence, and we have had no
response to that.
The
SPEAKER : I think you can ask a further question.
