I refer to the answer to Question 4 of Questions Prior to Hearings for the Child Protection Budget Estimates 2025-26, which confirmed the Out of Home Care reform process has delivered “new foster, emergency, disability and complex care arrangements, as well as temporary care homes and supports for new Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs)”, and I ask: (a) how many new foster care arrangements have been delivered; (b) how many new emergency care arrangements have been delivered; (c) how many new disability care and complex care arrangements have been delivered; (d) how many new Aboriginal carers have the ACCOs recruited; (e) how many children are being supported by an ACCO; (f) how many children are being supported by a funded service provider that is not an ACCO; (g) what funding has been allocated to ACCOs under the reform process in 2024-25 and 2025-26; and (h) what funding has been allocated to non-ACCO providers under the reform process in 2024-25 and 2025-26?

The Department of Communities advises:
(a – c) As at 25 September 2025, the Out of Home Care (OOHC) Reform has delivered:
· 710 Community Foster Care arrangements through the Community Services Sector
· 5507 funded emergency days
· 41 Disability and 68 Complex Care arrangements
(d) There have been 5 new Aboriginal carers recruited by Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs).
(e) As of 31 August 2025, there were 185 Aboriginal children being supported by an ACCO.
(f) As of 31 August 2025, there were 929 children in care that were supported by a funded service provider that is not an ACCO.
